If you’d like to learn landscape painting or improve your plein air painting indoors during the cold winter months, Fine Arts Building artist is offering his class: “Improving your plein air painting by creative use of photographs.”
This is a 5-week course running January 5 through February 2, held in Don’s studio at the Fine Arts Building every Sunday from 9am to 12pm.
The two main course objectives are: one, never stop painting during the ‘off season’; and two, learn how to use your own photo references creatively – instead of merely copying a photo – to improve your plein air painting. Additionally, other elements of sound painting principles will be taught; composition, aesthetic tonal arrangement, color harmony, etc.
* Duration; 5 weeks, from Jan 5 to Feb 2, 2025

* Class size is limited to 8 students max
